Tribes vs Crowds

A crowd is a tribe without a leader.

A crowd is a tribe without communication.

Most organization spend their time marketing to the crowd. Smart organizations assemble the tribe.

Do you think your fan page on Facebook is a tribe or a crowd? How can you answers my questions? By numbers or just by your feeling?
